We have a birthday party coming up soon for one of Nene's friends. Holly is a beautiful girl who loves the outdoors. So I'm thinking of something that is pretty and pink and something that can be worn outside.
I fell in love with the Shell Edging Crochet Hat from ravelry.com but it didn't include a pattern for a child so I actually made this hat three times in this past week! Phew!
The first one I ended up unraveling because it was too small. I managed to do so without crying but I made sure I had a glass of wine in hand like SouleMama suggests!
The second one, was too big. I didn't have the heart to unravel it because it's perfect for a pink loving adult. Would anyone here in cyber world like a free hat?
Finally, the third attempt turned out just right. And that is the story of "Holly-locks and the three hats!"
I hope she enjoys this adorable hat, all thanks to the creative designer Eileen Tepper.
And I'd like to thank my model and other cast member who didn't want to miss out on any fun!
Happy Birthday Holly!
